                                                                 Frequently Asked Questions
Planning a private dining experience should feel exciting—not overwhelming. Below are answers to some of the most common questions about booking with Her Table Catering LLC.
How do I book a service?
To begin, submit a booking request through our website with your preferred date, location, guest count, service type, and menu preferences.
Your date is not officially reserved until your service details are confirmed and the required retainer has been paid.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends, holidays, vacation season, weddings, and special events.

Weekend dates may fill quickly, so booking at least four to eight weeks in advance is encouraged. Last-minute requests may be accepted based on availability.

Is a retainer required?
Yes. A nonrefundable retainer equal to 50% of the estimated total is required to reserve your date and begin planning your service.
The retainer is applied toward your final balance.

When is the final balance due?
The remaining balance is due no later than four calendar days before your scheduled service date.
Bookings made within four days of the service date must be paid in full at the time of booking.

What areas do you serve?
Her Table Catering LLC serves Beaufort, St. Helena Island, Lady’s Island, Fripp Island, Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Savannah, and surrounding Lowcountry areas.
Travel fees may apply based on the service location, distance, parking requirements, tolls, or property access.

Do you provide services at vacation rentals and Airbnbs?
Yes. We provide private chef, vacation chef, stocked-fridge, meal delivery, brunch, dinner, and special-event services at vacation rentals.

Kitchen and Appliance Disclaimer

Private chef services require access to a clean, safe, and fully functioning kitchen.

Before the scheduled service, the client is responsible for confirming that all necessary kitchen appliances, including the oven, stovetop, refrigerator, freezer, sink, electrical outlets, ventilation system, and any agreed-upon equipment, are working properly and available for use.

Her Table Catering LLC is not responsible for delays, menu adjustments, changes in food preparation, or extended service times caused by:

  • Slow-heating or malfunctioning ovens and stovetops

  • Inaccurate appliance temperatures

  • Insufficient burners or oven space

  • Broken or unavailable kitchen equipment

  • Electrical, gas, plumbing, or ventilation issues

  • Limited counter space or restricted kitchen access

  • Property management or rental-home restrictions

If an appliance or utility issue affects food preparation, the chef may adjust the cooking method, menu, plating, or service time as reasonably necessary to complete the service safely.

Delays caused by the condition, performance, or availability of the client’s kitchen and appliances do not qualify for a refund or price reduction.

The client should notify Her Table Catering LLC in advance if the property has a small kitchen, older appliances, an induction stovetop, limited cookware, or any known equipment concerns. Additional equipment, staffing, or preparation time may be recommended and may result in an additional fee.

At Her Table, we understand that every individual has unique tastes and dietary needs. That's why we offer personalized meal plans tailored to your preferences.
